Senior Project Manager Architect
Knowledge / Skills
- Strong interviewing and presentation skills
- Business development a plus
- Design, detailing, and construction experience and knowledge
- Can lead and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, including highly complex projects
- Proficiency in Revit required
Responsibilities
- Attends on-site visits, field reviews, and project meetings. Prepares and coordinates the review of contractor's schedules, submission of shop drawings and samples.
- Responsible for keeping the project, or a phase of the project, on schedule.
- Communicates with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to ensure incorporation of all information into project requirements, providing support as necessary.
- Participates in team meetings to help resolve project issues, coordination with other disciplines, schedule adherence, and technical issues.
- Participates in review of project costs, budgets, and adherence to schedule.
- Heavily supports the Construction Administration phase — responding to RFIs and COs, reviewing shop drawings, and coordinating between consultants.
- Implements and utilizes standards for all projects and processes.
- May provide support to all team members for specific field, style, or phase of interior design expertise.
- May mentor and direct the work of less experienced staff.
- May participate in interviews and recruiting of professional staff.
- Fosters a commitment to external and internal client service and satisfaction.
- Effective planning and scheduling of assigned projects from start to finish.
- Maintains high client satisfaction to further client relationships.
- Requires little or no guidance and supervision by Studio Directors, Partners, or Managing Partner.
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Design
- 7–10 years experience in interiors projects (minimum 4 years in corporate interiors required)
- Registered Architect or Designer

Senior Licensed Project Architect
Knowledge / Skills
- Advanced knowledge of architectural building systems
- Advanced knowledge of QA/QC processes
- Advanced knowledge of building codes — and the ability to research and apply them in technical documents
- Can lead and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, including highly complex projects
- Understanding of ground-up architecture
- Proficiency in Revit required
- Excellent written and oral communication with clients and staff
Responsibilities
- Coordinates technical challenges with project teams, MEP, lighting, and acoustical consultants — providing direction and guidance as needed.
- Meets with municipal building department and other governing agency officials to coordinate approvals or variances.
- Writes reports and memos to consultants and vendors to issue changes and track resolutions.
- Attends on-site visits, field reviews, and project meetings. Prepares and coordinates the review of contractor's schedules, submission of shop drawings and samples.
- Assists the Specification Writer in product research, consulting with manufacturers, evaluating and selecting project-related materials.
- Involved with specification setup and drawing coordination, research, and appropriate use of standards.
- Responsible for keeping the project, or a phase of a project, on schedule.
- Heavily supports the Construction Administration phase responding to RFIs, COs, reviewing shop drawings, and coordinating between consultants.

Required Experience

- 10+ years experience
- Licensed Architect
